The Selangor FC Under-20 squad concluded the 2025 President’s Cup in second place, accumulating 47 points from 20 matches; 14 wins, five draws and just one defeat.

Finishing second for the second consecutive year, Selangor FC Under-20 Head Coach Firdaus Tan Aziz expressed hope that this momentum will drive the team towards even greater success next season, “The journey of a team that started from scratch is certainly not easy, but we managed to maintain our second-place position this season. I hope we can carry this spirit forward and achieve victory in 2026,” he said.

Throughout the 2025 President’s Cup campaign, five players recorded the most appearances under Firdaus Tan Aziz. Team captain Ariz Zuhayr played the most minutes, with 1,710 in total, followed by Mulia Hairi (1,692), Ahmad Danial (1,542), Izzat Syahir (1,427), and Airel Husainy (1,413).

Across 20 matches this season, the young Red Giants netted 38 goals, averaging 1.9 per match. Izzat Syahir led the scoring charts for Selangor with 16 goals, making him the second-highest scorer in the 2025 President’s Cup. He was followed by Hakim Hassan with four goals, Dainei Md Disa with three, and Mulia Hairi, Hafifi Muhtadee, and Nabil Fitri with two each. Meanwhile, Abrisham Fazdir, Zamil Zaqwan, Rusyaidi Fahmi, Zainurhakimi Zain, Adam Mikaeel, Adam Fitri, Ahmad Danial, Ariz Zuhayr, Syahir Sukri, and Zamirul Hakim each contributed one goal.

The goalkeeping and defensive records were equally impressive. According to the final standings of the 2025 President’s Cup, Selangor FC shared the record for the fewest goals conceded with Terengganu FC, with only nine in total. Remarkably, the team never conceded more than one goal in any match, highlighting their defensive discipline and teamwork. From that record, the Red Giants’ backline managed to keep 11 clean sheets out of 20 matches.

Overall, the team only recorded one defeat, which was during the opening match, then the players bounced back by recording 19 matches without defeat until the end of the 2025 President's Cup. In addition, the Red and Yellow under-20 squad's biggest victory was in the last match of the season against Melaka FA, with a result of 5-0.
